The Junior Vasa (The Next Generation)

The Junior Vasa Races are designed to inspire the next generation of Vasa Skiers by providing all the fun of the longer Vasa events in shorter distances, ideal for children who are new to the sport.
Junior Vasa skiers will be able to choose for 1/2 K, 1.5K and 2K distances. Anyone up to age 14 is welcome to participate. The course takes place in the main stadium area. All participants receive a medal at the finish line, along with Grocer's Daughter drinking chocolate , and Cherry Republic Boomchunka cookie.
Parents are welcome to join their 1/2 K and 1K skiers on skis or foot. Please stay to the side or behind so other participants can easily pass. All distances are freestyle technique, meaning you can classic or skate ski the course. The suggested age for the 2K is 11-14.
Bring your cowbell and cheer on the future of the Vasa.
SAME DAY REGISTRATION FOR JUNIOR VASA
9:20am-11:20am Saturday, February 8th. Lodge at Timber Ridge $5 (by check to North American Vasa or cash. No credit cards.
-There will be no bib pickup on Friday. All bib pickup and registration is on Saturday
