48 Years of Nordic Tradition

History.

What’s New?

We are optimistic for a great race in 2023. We have tightened up our roster of ski races in an attempt to make those that we offer more competitive. We are pleased to welcome Huntington Bank and Serra Subaru as our co-title sponsors for 2023! These good people do more than write a check. They have genuine interest in the community. Plus, their employees participate as volunteers and racers. Thanks to them and all our generous sponsors for making this race weekend financially viable and FUN!

The Vasa Trail.

Michigan's premier cross-country ski trail offers those of all abilities the opportunity to experience the ultimate in grooming technology amongst towering white pines and through the pristine serenity of the Pere' Marquette State forest of Northern Michigan.

Maintained by dedicated volunteers and supported by public donations, the Vasa Pathway is operated by the Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails (TART), a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and preserving non-motorized trails in the Grand Traverse region.
