About the Club
After many years of minimal activity, new and existing members of the Traverse Nordic Ski Club have reestablished our cross country ski club.

In recent years, the Vasa organization has taken the Traverse Nordic Ski Club under their wing, to keep it going at a basic level. The new club continues this partnership and more actively promotes ski racing, recreational skiing and junior skier development. Thus, a new team name and mission have been established.

New Name: Vasa Ski Club

Mission Statement: To promote and encourage cross country skiing in the Grand Traverse region through recreation and competition.

Goals:

•Rebuild club membership
•Generate enthusiasm for cross country skiing and racing
•Regain prominence in the Michigan Cup Ski Racing Series
•Conduct inclusive pre-season ski activities
•Organize group skiing and instruction
